Hp dv6qe switchable graphics helper

i have faced alot of problems with my laptop, particularly the switchable graphics option this laptop comes with i come to the conclusion i have found the answer and it goes like this:

in bios, when computer starts, hit esc, then f10 at the next menu, this will bring you to the bios menu, after that scroll to the section that lists "switchable graphics" change this setting from Dymanic mode to: Fixed mode(that means it will always use ati card), then exit and saved changes. I hope this helps because it did for me.
