we was just messing around with new laptop webcam and this happened....

What happened yesterday...

Yesterday as we know I return to my house in morganton, and I was asked to bring a few things: Butter, skillet, propane tank, spatula, newspaper.  Unforunately I forgot two things, I brought the wrong skillet, and didnt bring any newspaper.. sigh.  I got yelled at when I went to morganton house.  When I arrived my parents was busy at work making asian chilli sauce, and ban ka lum (rice bamboo).  I went downstairs to go see my sisters child and stayed with them for a while.  When my sister was done preparing the food upstairs; we all went up.  My parents was still outside preparing food, during the wait I decided to help my mother with her chilli sauce, the process is that my mother uses a pestle and mortar, and grinds up hot peppers.  This grinding process takes many minutes and hurts your hands after you do it for a while.  My father on the otherhand was making ban ka lum (lao rice bamboo stick).  After we all ate the food my sister made, which was nice and good; I helped clean the dishes, then went downstairs to play call of duty with enrique.  After that, I got bored and watch hancock (movie) with my parents and sisters.  Well, my parents was planning to go to someones house, but then my mother realized that she didn't have to sell food until the following weekend, therefore all my parents work preparing food was for nothing.  My father got angry and said: "I did all this stuff too early, and I have been doing this all day for your mother."  After that I attempted to return home to my house in hickory, but... the car wouldnt start.  After me and my dad troubleshooted the problem for a few minutes, we came to the conclusion that there was no gas in the car... LOL.

Some Ban Ka Lum (cao) Lao Food

Im going to start posting things that are happening in my life,

Today I have to help my parents prepare their food for a selling thingy that they are doing during a temple(religous meeting *similar to church*).  They are preparing Bung ka lum, (lao) which is a bambo stick, cooked with rice(cao) and coconut milk, and is slow cooked for a few minutes or so.  I was asked to bring a propane tank, for my parents, a skillet, butter, and spatula for my sister.  Currently I'm washing my clothes, and will be driving to my parents house in a few hours after my clothes are done.  This weekend most likely I will be helping my parents cut bambo, for the food, and taking care of my sisters kids.

How to Optimize A computer with Ccleaner software

This guide will show you how to optimize your computers preformace with Ccleaner software enjoy!

How to optimize your computer with Ccleaner software

            Everyone that owns a computer has experienced times of sluggishness associated with their personal computers.  Whether a laptop or a desktop, without maintenance a computer itself can become slow and be frustrating to use.  It is important to regularly do routine checks with your computers registry and temporary files to better optimize the computers performance.  For this demonstration, I will use a laptop computer with Windows XP OS guiding you with the steps from downloading Ccleaner software to installing the software and finally using the build in features that cleans your registry and temporary files thus increasing overall manageability.

Material list:

Prior computer knowledge (Web browsing, windows navigation, you do not have to computer savvy.)

Minimal system (computer) requirements: computer equipped with Windows XP OS, or Windows 7, and Internet web browser. (Internet Explorer 6 or higher, or Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox)

Standard internet connection required for installation download (DSL, Broadband)

Instructions:

1.      Begin by booting the computer to the home screen.  With all your customizable desktop icons loaded you can now begin.  Acknowledging that your internet connection is available, double click your preferred internet web browser.

2.      Now that your web browser is loaded to the home page go to the address bar and type: http://www.piriform.com/ccleaner/download.  Wait for the page to load as you will come to a new webpage.

3.      Click the Free Ccleaner download dialogue box and select the second option labeled as: “Download from Piriform”.  Depending on your web browser, the file download should automatically be prompt to download.  *For Internet Explorer, you will be redirected to a new dialogue box asking to: open, save, or quit download.  For this demonstration, we will save it under the desktop.

4.      The next window you will see will ask where you would like to save this file, for this demonstration we will save the installation file under the desktop.  Please allow time for your file download to finish as this is determined by your internet speed.

5.      Now that your file has finish downloading, minimize all open windows until you see the desktop.  Close all current programs to correctly install Ccleaner software.  Along all your desktop icons you will come across one icon named: “Ccleaner3XX.exe”.

6.      Double click that icon; it will prompt you to a security dialogue box asking you to either open or close if you see that the publisher anything other than Piriform Ltd, please close the program otherwise click open.  After that it will load to another new dialogue box which is the Ccleaner installer.  *Warning* be aware that some downloads are potentially harmful to your computer please verify authenticity of the software before you use it.

7.      Please select your language preference.  The first dialogue box will give basic information about the software also what precautions you should take. Click next to continue.

8.      Please read the User Agreement before you install so you can understand what the software is capable of.  When you are finished, click the: “I agree” button to continue.  The next menu will have some options for you, based on your preferences I wouldn’t mess with these settings that much, usually what it has been checked is what you probably need; click the install button.

9.      Please wait while Ccleaner installer finalizes the program install.  If you have successfully installed Ccleaner to your computer it will show a dialogue box with the Ccleaner logo on it.  It will give you the option to: “Run” after installer closes, or you can uncheck the box and it will just simply exit the installer.  For this demonstration, keep the box checked.

10.  Congratulations you have successfully installed Ccleaner 3.XX for your PC.  Based on the preferences that we chose, the Ccleaner program will automatically open.  Ccleaner has two features that we will use, they are: Cleaner, and Registry Clean.  We will use these both.  Other Features it includes are advanced features; we do not use these as they are more advanced.

11.  Click the first tab on the left that is labeled: Cleaner.  This function enables a user to cleanup their computer by deleting the old temporary files a computer leaves behind as well as emptying the recycling bin.  This feature will keep your computer clean while freeing some disk space.  Begin by clicking: “Run Ccleaner”.  Please note that this process will take minutes to an hour based on the undesirable space the computer has.  Once the process is finished, it will display a progress report showing the amount of space cleaned, and what programs were effected.  Now your computer is clean, and has more free space.  *Warning* do not worry the programs effected; it will not change your web browsing experience.

12.  The next step is to clean the registry.  To clean the registry of your computer, click the” “Registry tab”.  This feature will allow you to delete old registry files that slow your computer down, most of the files it deletes are obsolete program files left behind from uninstallers that can corrupt your systems performance.  To start this process, click the scan for issues button at the bottom.  Ccleaner will now search the entire computer for registry problems associated.  After the process is done it will generate a list of problems it has found.  You now have the option to fix selected issues, or leave it the way it is.  For this demonstration we will clean the registry.  Before it cleans, it will ask you to save a registry boot file incase the registry clean interferes with systems processes and fails, this way you can click the registry boot file, and it will restore the settings your computer had either before the registry clean (Similar to system restore).  I recommend you save a registry boot file.  After you save the backup file somewhere in your computer, click: “Fix all selected issues”.  This will take a while based on your registry problems.

Usually after this you should see a change within your computers overall performance. Congratulations you have successfully cleaned your computer with Ccleaner software thus improving overall system manageability.  Please note that it is recommended to clean and optimize your computers registry every week to stabilize performance.
